AI for social media: helpful drafts, not autopilot
AI is excellent at first drafts and terrible at final judgement. Use it for the first, keep the second.
Use AI to beat the blank page: generate ten caption options, five headline ideas, or a first outline. Then pick, edit and rewrite in your own voice.
Never publish AI output unchanged. Generic phrasing, invented facts and a voice that is not yours will quietly erode trust — and followers notice faster than you think.
Check every claim. AI can sound confident about things that are simply wrong, especially numbers, dates and quotes. If you cannot verify it, do not post it.
The best workflow is human-led: you decide the idea and the message, AI helps with wording, and you approve every word before it goes out.
