What to do when a post flops
Every account has flops. The difference is what you learn from them.
First, check the basics: was it published at a strange time, was the image unclear, or did the first line bury the point? Most flops have a boring explanation.
Compare it fairly. A post aimed at existing customers will not reach like a post aimed at discovery — judge each post by its own job.
Try one change, not five. Repost a better version with a stronger first line, or a clearer image, and see if the result changes. That is an experiment, not a failure.
Finally, keep perspective. One weak post does not define an account; a pattern of weak posts does. Look for patterns across a month, not panic over a day.
